Terms of service
Styled by Rosie Pink (London) – referred to here as SRPL
1. Booking process
1.1. Free preliminary online chat – use Get in Touch form, email rosie@styledbyrosiepink.co.uk or call 07958957175 to arrange. During the preliminary chat we will agree:
1.1.1.Service(s) to be booked
1.1.2.Advised duration of service(s) to be booked
1.1.3.Time(s) and date(s) of service(s) to be booked
1.2. Confirmation email detailing:
1.2.1.agreed service(s),
1.2.2.time and date,
1.2.3.advised duration,
1.2.4.minimum service cost (hourly rate x advised duration)
1.2.5.applicable additional costs
1.2.6.payment due dates and bank account details for payment
1.3. Time/date of booking to be held for 48 hours from confirmation email being sent, at which point payment of 50 per cent of the minimum service cost must be paid by bank transfer as a non-refundable deposit to secure booking. Email receipt will be provided.
1.4. The balance (remaining 50 per cent of the minimum service cost plus any applicable additional costs) must be paid no less than 24 hours prior to the booked time/date. This payment is non-refundable. A reminder email will be sent to prompt payment.
2. Amendments and cancellations
2.1. Deposits and balance payments are non-refundable.
2.2. Should you need to change the details of a booking (date/time/duration/service), SRPL will attempt to accommodate the requested amend(s), however this cannot be guaranteed and is subject to clause 2.1. Please contact SRPL to request an amend, giving as much notice as possible.
3. Costs and duration of services - Wardrobe Rejuvenation, Styled Shop and Occasion Shop:
3.1. These services are charged at the hourly rate of £110 (plus VAT if applicable), excluding travel time, plus the booking may be subject to additional costs (see section 5).
3.2. The advised duration will be agreed with you following the preliminary online chat and will form the basis for the minimum service cost invoiced to you.
3.3. Completion of the service within the advised duration is not guaranteed.
3.4. You may opt to extend the service duration at any time (including during delivery of the service) and SRPL will accommodate this if possible. The extension may be on the same or a later date to the booked service – to be agreed with you. Payment for additional hours must be made immediately by bank transfer.
3.5. The minimum service cost is fixed. No reductions are given for completing the service in a shorter duration.
3.6. Promotional discounts / deals may be offered from time to time.
4. Costs and duration of services – Second Life:
4.1. Second Life service is only available in conjunction with the Wardrobe Rejuvenation service.
4.2. SRPL will meet any upfront costs of listing / sale. Listings will be live for a minimum of one month (“minimum listing period”).
4.3. Item(s) identified for sale will be listed, and sold, at a price informed by research carried out by SRPL and agreed in advance with you. Unsold items (after at least the minimum listing period) may be returned to you (at your cost of delivery) or processed as per clause 4.4.
4.4. Item(s) identified for donation to charity will be delivered by SRPL to a Royal Trinity Hospice (registered charity number 1013945) shop. SRPL will inform you of the process to enable the charity to claim Gift Aid on your donation.
4.5. SRPL will transfer the agreed percentage of sale to you (standard terms are 40 per cent of the final sale price to the client) within 14 days of a confirmed, fully completed sale.
5. Location and additional costs of services
5.1. Wardrobe Rejuvenation: Location is your home.
5.1.1.Travel to and from your home (from / to SRPL’s address in SE19) is an additional cost, charged at 50 pence per mile.
5.1.2. Congestion charge, if applicable, is also an additional cost.
5.1.3.Any arrangements and costs of parking at / near your home will be met by you, as and when required. The costs of any parking fine, should arrangements / payment be inadequate, will be billed to you and must be paid within 48 hours of prompt notification by SRPL.
5.1.4.Any additional costs of travel / congestion charge will be itemised in your confirmation and reminder email and are payable at the time of balance payment (no less than 24 hours prior to booking time/date).
5.2. Accompanied Styled Shop and accompanied Occasion Shop: These will take place in London, at locations selected by SRPL.
5.2.1.Arrangements (location/time) to meet will be agreed with you no later 48 hours prior to the booking.
5.2.2.You are responsible for your own travel arrangements and costs of travel for the booking.
